OPI Moon Over Mumbai & OPI Tickle My France-y NOTDs

Hello everyone! I hope you all had a nice holiday. I'm sorry for the lack of posts. I worked so much before Thanksgiving that I didn't have any time to do a NOTD. After work today, however, I got together with a friend (and coworker) of mine. I've been telling her about my nail polish collection for a while now, and we finally got together to do our nails. I supplied the polish and the tools, and she supplied the nail art polishes. The polish on my nails is OPI's Moon Over Mumbai from the India collection. It is a pretty soft grey with a subtle shimmer. It's one of my all time favorite sheer polishes. On Laura's nails we used OPI's Tickle My France-y from the France collection last fall. It's an elegant grey-pink and is also a favorite sheer color of mine.

Laura did the designs on my nails and her nails by hand with special nail art striper polishes from Sally Beauty. She used a stick-on Nailene decal that I had for each pointer finger. Winter break is coming up for us college students so you can expect many more nail-of-the-day pictures and nail art designs to come! Happy polishing!

OPI 2009/2010 & China Glaze Spring 2010

While I don't have a nail of the day (NOTD) to show you, I've got some Spring polish collection news from one of my favorite blogs, http://polishpixie.blogspot.com/.

The OPI 2009/2010 collection has a Hong Kong theme. Polish Pixie's post (found here: http://polishpixie.blogspot.com/2009/11/opi-winter-20092010-hong-kong.html) said the collection is from the winter 2009/2010 collection, while Beauty Anonymous' post, (seen here: http://beautyanonymous.blogspot.com/2009/11/opi-springsummer-2010-hong-kong.html) said the collection was from spring/summer 2010. The colors included are red, purple, green, blue, orange, gold, and white. I'm really interested in the blue, green, and the light purple colors.

The China Glaze Spring 2010 collection is titled "Up and Away". The colors are pastels, 12 in total, and they look awesome. Here's a link to the post: http://polishpixie.blogspot.com/2009/11/china-glaze-spring-2010-up-and-away.html.

Overall, these collections look interesting. I love the themes and I especially love the promo pictures from China Glaze's collection. Which polishes have caught your eye? Happy polishing!

Wet n Wild Morbid

Hello everyone! Tonight I'm reviewing Wet n Wild's Morbid from the Craze collection. Pictures first and then my review.

This color is a blackened teal and it is gorgeous! The bottles are mini size (.33 oz) and the brush is very small. If you're prepared for that, application shouldn't be a problem. This color applied well and my pictures are shown with two coats plus top coat. The shimmer is subtle, but beautiful. I only wish I had some sunlight to take pictures in, but that's what happens when you swatch at 8pm in late November! This collection should still be available in stores. I bought these back in the summer at Walgreens and they were BOGO, which, at $2 each, was an amazing deal! Happy polishing :)
